Chris Grismer is a director and producer currently residing with his family in Los Angeles. He has worked as producing director on such shows as Designated Survivor, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Legacies, Freakish and The Unsettling.

He has directed music videos for Arcade Fire, Motion City Soundtrack, Metric and Broken Social Scene to name a few and many of these videos have won awards and been seen around the world at various film festivals.

The pilots he has directed have gone on to become highly successful, multi-season television shows. These include The Originals, Legacies, Freakish and Killjoys.

Chris also pursues his passion for photography and recently won the Grand Jury Prize at the Miami Photo Salon at Art Basel.
